Joining the Southern University Alumni Federation is one of the best ways to strengthen your proud alma mater. Join the informed alumni and friends who act as powerful advocates for SU every day. With your help, the University can continue to add value and respect to the SU degree you worked so hard to earn.
The Federation has several membership levels to choose from, and each member receives a subscription to the Southernite magazine.
Annual Membership: $50 (July 1 – June 30).
Recent Grad: Free! Recent grad memberships are available for the first year after completion of your degree.
Life Membership: $500. Life Membership is a premium level of membership. Life Members receive a membership card, certificate, window decal and gold lapel pin. Life Members are also encouraged to continue to support the Federation through an annual maintenance fee of $25.
Gift Membership: Give a gift you know they'll love. Memberships make perfect gifts for recent grads, relatives or faraway Jaguars.

Network: The Southern University Alumni network is vast and strong. Successful alumni span virtually every corner of the globe. Federation membership helps you find friendly faces in your area or in your profession. And, join with other faithful alums through membership in more than 80 chapters.

Connect:. Get the inside track on what’s happening at Southern University and what alumni across the country are doing.
Gather:. Come together for athletic events as a member of the Jaguar Nation and benefit for great members-only lodging and tickets for home and away games. And, unite annually for the national alumni conference.
